Immigration

DSC02885Here is the chronicle of our immigration story from the States to Canada. Ours will be different from yours. We admit we have so much to be grateful for in our process, though slow, so far. And while every family’s immigration journey is different, we do share much in common. It’s uprooting, moving, settling, exploring, familiarizing, and waiting. There’s disappointment and discouragement, and there are breakthroughs and breaking a sweat at the border. It’s filing three income tax returns, and deciding to close your home country bank accounts indefinitely. It’s no longer saying goodbye to the love of your life, but means the regular, aching farewells of family. It’s exciting and ultimately, liberating. “We did this!!” we’ll all say soon! For our marriage, for our children, and because it’s God’s best for us. It’s wonderful to know you’re not alone in the process, may our story be a small encouragement!
