reading in bed

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…reading just really changes this girl. With every story I read of humble, serving, beautiful, Christ-like women, I can’t help but reflect on my own character. Who I am, who I will be, and most importantly, who will I serve? The following reads offer help to young women asking these questions. To those who are seeking to be who God made us to be since before time began….this is just a start*…

Lives of Faith Reading List

*I started this blog for the purpose of encouraging young women to read. Of course, I don’t have an unlimited knowledge of every book out there, but between all of us, we’ve read many life-changing books. What have been those books for you. I really would love to know and be able to add them to these lists along the way.

  1. I’ve heard of a few books on your list but have yet to find the time to read them 😛
Anyways, I have found Joshua Harris’s book Boy Meets Girl really helpful right before I went into courtship with my husband. We both read it separately and we would talk about it afterwards. I think it has put us on the same track and helped us be purposeful in finding out if each other was who God had chosen for us. 🙂

  2. I love your reading list! Thanks for sharing! Can I also add Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge & Lies Women Believe by Nance Leigh DeMoss.

  3. I was looking for new blogs to follow, and came across your blog and found that we have common interests (I think); then I saw this post. Seem’s like we’re like-minded with our Christian authors! Would love to chat or send emails sometime (:
